Infinix Smart 9 has a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a peak brightness of around 500 nits. Smart 9 has a plastic body with a textured back that minimizes fingerprints. It has an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, dual stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Infinix Smart 9 is powered by MediaTek Helio G81. This is a 12nm octa-core processor with two Cortex-A75 cores at 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.7 GHz paired with the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. This configuration delivers adequate performance for activities such as messaging, social media, and gaming. Smart 9 is available in 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage (expandable up to 1TB via microSD). It runs Android 14 Go edition with XOS 14.

Infinix Smart 9 has a 13MP main camera with an f/1.9 aperture. This camera supports HDR and panorama modes. It can be used to capture beautiful photos in good lighting conditions. You can also record videos at 1080p at 30fps. Also, Smart 9 has an 8MP front camera with an LED flash.

Infinix Smart 9 has a 5000 mAh battery that supports extended usage. Under moderate use like browsing, calls, and light streaming, it lasts up to a day and a half. This battery supports 10W fast charging through a Micro-USB port.
